I have a large lipoma on my left ribs that has to be removed? Just wondering how long recovery time if any would be? Like would I have to miss work or would I be fine?
Lipoma excision recovery is usually quick .recovery time depend on the size of lipoma , small size can be excised today and you can go to work the next day , in some cases the lipoma is large and need to put a drain at the site of excision to promote healing, any way your you should discuss this with your surgeon as he is the best one that can evaluate your case.
